Debbie Marie (Dailey) Jekel, age 67, of Carroll passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll surrounded by her family.
A celebration of Debbie’s life will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll with Chaplain Angelo Luis of St. Anthony Regional Hospital officiating.
Visitation will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home from 6 – 7 P.M. on Thursday and reception will be held at the funeral home following the service.

Debbie was born on December 12, 1952 in Sioux City, IA, and was the daughter of Merle “Hoagie” and Mickey (Fisher) Dailey. She grew up in Carroll and graduated from Kuemper High School. Debbie lived in Colorado for many years where she worked at various jobs. She moved back to Iowa in 2006. Debbie was an avid Denver Broncos fan, she enjoyed going for drives in the mountains, collecting Coca Cola memorabilia, and talking on the phone.
Debbie is survived by her daughter JaimeThomas Schulte (Matt Thomas) of Eagle, CO; three grandchildren: Skyler Runke, Tristan Linn, and Jordyn Linn; a daughter-in-law Tina Thompson (Nate) of Denison; her siblings: brother Dan Dailey (Lisa McLeod) of Bella Vista, AR, sister Diane Olson (Terry “Wong”) of Carroll, brother David Dailey of Newton, IA, sister Dori Rotert (Jon Waterbury) of Manning, brother Doug Dailey (Darcy) of Carroll, and sister Dawn Shepherd (Cody Hughes) of Bayard, IA; and many other extended family members.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents Merle and Mickey Dailey; her brother Dean Dailey; and her son Jeremy Linn.
