David Walter Pemble

David Walter Pemble, age 59, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024 at his home in Carroll.

A graveside service will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Merle Hay Memorial Cemetery near Glidden.  Military honors will be conducted by the Glidden American Legion.

David was born on November 14, 1964 in Sac City, IA, and he was the son of Jerry and Sheryl (Zimmerman) Pemble.  He grew up in Carroll and graduated from Carroll High School.  David enlisted in the United States Army and served two years.  Following his military service, David lived in Maine and later moved back to Carroll.

David is survived by two uncles: Doyle Zimmerman (Diane) of Omaha and Douglas Zimmerman (Sheryl) of Carroll; and several nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his grandparents Virgil and Esther Zimmerman and his mother Sheryl Pemble.
