David Wayne Hoggatt

David Wayne Hoggatt, age 52, of Coon Rapids, IA, and Des Moines, IA, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022.

A public visitation will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Coon Rapids, IA, from 5 – 7 P.M. on Tuesday, November 15, 2022.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Coon Rapids.

David was born on January 18, 1970 in Des Moines, IA, and he was the son of Walter Calvin Sr. and Connie Sue (Ingledue) Hoggatt.  His family moved to Tennessee when he was a boy and he grew up in Ashland City.  David drove truck, worked for the United States Post Office and did sheet metal work.  David was a hard worker, he enjoyed art, and he loved his family.

David is survived by his three children: Tami Hoggatt, Alexander Hoggatt-Wright, and Davina Hoggatt; five grandchildren; his mother Connie Ingledue of Ashland City, TN; his siblings: Mark Hoggatt (Sheri) of Florida, Robert Hoggatt of Texas, Timothy Hoggatt of Ohio, Billy Jack Hoggatt (Rebecca) of Ashland City, TN, and Ranessa Sherer of Cedar Rapids; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

David was preceded in death by his father Walter Calvin Hoggatt Sr.; and his brother Walter Calvin Hoggatt Jr.; and a sister Etta Marie.
