Daniel Raymond Lindsay

Daniel Raymond Lindsay, age 59, of Carroll passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at his home. Born on March 3, 1954 at Hibbing, Minnesota, he was the son of Russell and Belle (Grendahl) Lindsay. He grew up in Glidden where he attended school. He moved to Carroll in 1990. Daniel enjoyed collecting model cars and working on cars. Surviving are five brothers: LeRoy Lindsay and his wife Lucille of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, Ralph Lindsay and his wife Betty of Hibbing, Minnesota, James Lindsay of Des Moines, Ken Lindsay and his wife Jean of Fargo, North Dakota, and Robert Lindsay and his wife Jean of Glidden; three sisters: Doris Alverson of Vancouver, Washington, Marge LaBarge of Hibbing, Minnesota, and Betty Ramano of Marrysville, Washington; his special friend Deb Renze of Carroll; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dan was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Glen and Dale Lindsay, and a sister Katherine in infancy. According to Dan’s wishes his body has been cremated and a graveside service will be held at Merle Hay Memorial Cemetery near Glidden at a later date.
