Cleora C Rohrbeck

July 10, 1919 — March 14, 2018

     Cleora C. Rohrbeck, age 98, of Glidden, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Regency Park Nursing Home in Carroll.      Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Peace Lutheran Church in Glidden with Pastor Alan Miller officiating.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Monday and continue until the time of the funeral service.  Organist for the service will be Becky Miller.  Casket bearers will be Monty Rohrbeck, Reggy Rohrbeck, and Jody Rohrbeck.  Burial will be in the Merle Hay Memorial Cemetery near Glidden. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden and online condolences may be left for Cleora’s family at www.dahnandwoodhouse.com.      Born on July 10, 1919 in Mount Olive, Illinois, Cleora was the daughter of August and Emma (Arndt) Fricke.  Her family moved to Coon Rapids when she was three years old and Cleora was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church near Coon Rapids.  Cleora attended country school through the 8th grade.  Cleora was united in marriage to Arthur Rohrbeck on January 5, 1935 at Peace Lutheran Church in Glidden.  The couple lived and farmed in the Glidden area, and Cleora was very active in the farming operation.  She enjoyed reading, going Bald Eagle watching, spending time with family, and keeping an immaculate house.  She had a special love for dogs.  Cleora was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Glidden.       Cleora is survived by her sister, Luella Auen of Carroll; sisters-in-law: Lois Rohrbeck of Glidden and Alva Rohrbeck of St. Cloud, MN; and several nieces and nephews.      She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arthur in 1976; a sister, Leona Frolich; brothers-in-law: Burton Rohrbeck, Marland Rohrbeck, Ed Pederson, and Kenneth Auen; and a sister-in-law, Leota Pederson.
