Christina Underberg, age 46, of Carroll passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll. Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll. Friends may call at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll after 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 where there will be a Christian Wake Service held at 7:00 P.M. Vistitation will resume at 9:30 A.M. on Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll. Christina R. Underberg, age 46, of Carroll passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll. Born on September 6, 1970 in Des Moines, IA, Christina was the daughter of Tom and Victoria (Lappe) Underberg. She grew up in Carroll and graduated from Kuemper High School in 1988. Following her schooling she worked for New Hope Village and then Combined Insurance as an insurance agent. Christina was a very talented musician and was active in the Kuemper High School band and orchestra. Christina is survived by her four children: Jordan Leigh Janssen of Glidden, Tyler Thomas Nelsen of Lake City, and Taryn and Tory Korthals of Rockwell City; her mother Vicki Gross (Ben) of Breda; her father Tom Underberg (Jo Ann) of Roselle; her maternal grandmother Justine Schwartz of Santa Clara, CA; a sister Roxie Schrader (Clint) of Adel; a brother Adam Underberg of Nevada; a granddaughter on the way; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Christina was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Elmer Lappe Sr.; her paternal grandparents Augustine Underberg and Alma and Russell DeBourgh; and a brother Robert John Underberg in infancy.
