Chance Walt Julin, the 2 month old infant son of Chris and Emmalee Julin of Arcadia, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2011 due to injuries suffered in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, December 9, 2011 at Zion Lutheran Church in Arcadia with Pastor Ben Dose officiating. Friends may call at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll after 5:00 P.M. on Thursday where there will be a prayer service held at 7:00 P.M.. The casket will be moved to the church at 8:30 A.M. on Friday where visitation will resume until the time of service. Organist for the service will be Sue Fielmeier and vocalists will be Angela Julin and Rahn Eischeid. Burial will be in the St. John Cemetery near Arcadia. Casket bearers will be his parents Chris and Emmalee Julin. Honorary casket bearers will be his Godparents: James and Mary Ann Vanderheiden, Dan Julin, and Jeremy Ewoldt. Born on September 15, 2011 at Carroll, Iowa, on his parent’s 4th wedding anniversary he was the son of Christopher and Emmalee (Ewoldt) Julin. Surviving are his parents Chris and Emmalee Julin of Arcadia, Iowa; his brother and sister Connor and Lillyann Julin of Arcadia; his maternal grandparents Joe and Penny Ewoldt of Vail, Iowa, and paternal grandparents Steve and Linda Julin of Arcadia; his maternal great grandparents Lloyd and Elaine Carlson of Ricketts, Iowa; his paternal great grandparents LeRoy and Norma Vonnahme of Arcadia; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by great grandparents: Walter Kortmann Jr., Erlin and Caroline Ewoldt and Irv and Eunice Julin; and his uncle Adam Julin.
