Cathy Flanagan

Catherine Ann Flanagan, age 60, was born on December 17, 1955 in Boston, MA, to James and Marie (Boudreaux) Flanagan . She went to be with the Lord on July 7, 2016. Cathy grew up in Boston and graduated from high school in Orange County, CA. She attended nursing school in Long Beach, CA. Cathy worked as a baker after her nursing career. She lived in Ozark, MO for 16 years and recently moved to Carroll to be with her daughter. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. Her caring heart and zest for life will be greatly missed. She is remembered by her children: Magen Dierenfeld (Matt) of Carroll and son Joseph Flanagan of Ozark, MO; her grandchildren Shylie, Hallee, and Samantha; her step mother Ethel Flanagan of Long Beach, CA; three brothers: Jimmy Flanagan (Sue) and Michael Flanagan both of Pahrump, NV, and Richard Flanagan (Valerie) of Garden Grove, CA; step-brother Bill McLaren and her beloved friends. She is preceded in death by the love of her life John O’Neil; her parents, her best friend Lisa Farnsworth; and her sister Mary Jane Flanagan. Her beauty, joy of life, kindness and smile will be greatly missed. We all love you Cathy. May you rest in peace. Private family services will be held at Swan Lake State Park near Carroll on Tuesday, July 12, 2016.
