He attended Coon Rapids-Bayard Community School and completed the tenth grade. During school, Casey was active in student council, choir, football, basketball, track and baseball. He was also a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, St. Louis Cardinals and the Iowa State Cyclones. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed horseback riding, swimming at a water park, and snorkeling at the gravel pit. Casey was very patriotic and aspired to join the Marine Corps. A jokester who was always smiling, Casey used his imagination and creativeness to make numerous home movies. Casey was a friend to everybody and loved his family – he never hesitated to give his mom a hug or play catch with the football or baseball with his dad. On Wednesday, July 8, 2009, Casey died as the result of an automobile accident south of Glidden, Iowa. He was 16 years old . Casey is survived by his parents Dan and Lesa Stork of Coon Rapids; a sister Hannah Gries and husband Kent of Audubon; a niece Adysen Gries of Audubon; his grandparents: John and Barb Irlbeck of Coon Rapids; Marlin and MaryLou Kirkdorffer of Eldora; Marilyn Stork of Odebolt; Aunts and Uncles: Deb and Phil Sisson of Guthrie Center; Renee McClellan of Eldora; Robin Brown of Eldora; Nathan and Tonya Kirkdorffer of Jewell; Dave and Lori Stork of Lake View; Deb Stehr of Lake View; Dan and Denise Holmes of Mount Carmel; and by numerous great-aunts and great-uncles and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Fred Stork and an aunt Diana Schontz.
