Brys Quinn Beirman, age 28, of Lake City and formerly of Carroll passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017 at his home in Lake City. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the Dahn and Wodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll with Rev. Dennis Bailey of First United Methodist Church in Carroll officiating. Casket bearers will be George Hutton, Levi Hutton, Austin Edwards, Aden Ayers, Ronnie Dezember, and Jacob Tigges. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery near Lidderdale. Friends may call at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll after 5:00 P.M. on Friday where there will be a prayer service held at 6:30 P.M. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll and online condolences may be left for the family at www.dahnandwoodhouse.com Born on March 31, 1989 in Des Moines, IA, he was the son of Roger and Felicia (Tigges) Beirman. He grew up in Earlham, IA, and graduated from Earlham High School in 2007. Following high school he attended DMACC in Ankeny and was certified as an Auto Body Technician. Brys worked in the auto body and landscaping business until becoming employed by Farner Bocken Company in Carroll in 2012. He enjoyed reading and collecting Marvel Comic Books, gaming, watching movies, but most of all spending time with his family especially his nieces and nephews. Brys loved playing cards with his grandma Lois before her passing. Brys is survived by his mother and step-father Felicia and James Price of Lake City; a sister Mira Dezember (Ronnie) of Phoenix, AZ; two brothers: Roger Beirman Jr. (Stacy) of Mitchelville, IA, and Gabe Ayers of Des Moines; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Brys was preceded in death by his father Roger Beirman Sr.; his maternal grandparents Hilarion and Lois Tigges; his paternal grandparents Harold and Sylvia Beirman.
