Brenda Kay Guenther, age 63, of Auburn and formerly of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019 at Accura Healthcare of Carroll.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 22, 2019 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll with Pastor Jon Sampson of Central Church in Carroll officiating.
Visitation will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll from 10:00 A.M. on Friday until the time of service. Burial will be in the Klob Cemetery in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Born on October 17, 1956 in Denver, CO, she was the daughter of Clarence and Nellie (Everhart) Wilson. She grew up in Chico, California where she graduated from high school in 1975. She was married to Robert Guenther in 1978 and to this union three children were born: Cassandra, Steven, and Michael. Brenda loved to laugh and smile. She didn’t know a stranger and would do anything for anyone. Brenda loved to be with her family and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She moved to Auburn from Edmond, Oklahoma, in 2017 to be near family.
Brenda is survived by her children: Cassandra Patterson Weiden (Jeff) of Edmond, OK, Steven Guenther (Sara) of Bullhead City, AZ, and Michael Guenther (Jennifer) of Auburn, IA; thirteen grandchildren; a sister Kathy Manning (Danny) of Vanburen, MO; a brother Steve Wilson (Sue) of Oklahoma City, OK; and several nieces and nephews.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Nellie Wilson, her sister Linda Friedline, and her niece Kathryn Manning Thompson.
