Bonnie Beyerink, age 65, of Westside passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016 at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, August 29, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Church in Arcadia with Pastor Ben Dose officiating. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery. Friends may call at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll after 5:00 P.M. on Sunday where there will be a prayer service held at 6:30 P.M. The casket will be moved to Zion Lutheran Church at 9:30 A.M. on Monday where visitation will resume until the time of service. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll and online condolences may be left for Bonnie’s family at www.dahnandwoodhouse.com Born on February 28, 1951 in Denison, IA, she was the daughter of Merlin and Irene (Isaacs) Jurgensen. She grew up in Manning, Aspinwall, and Schleswig and graduated from Schleswig High School in 1969. Bonnie was a homemaker and had two children: Jennifer and Jacqueline. The family lived in Westside and Bonnie worked at Don’s Place in Carroll for many years as well as the Swizzle Stick. She was married to Duane “Barney” Beyerink on May 1, 1981 at Storm Lake, Iowa. She enjoyed camping, riding horses, socializing, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Bonnie was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Arcadia. Bonnie is survived by her husband Jim Roth of Westside; two daughters: Jennifer Koopman of Carroll, and Jacqueline Leymaster of Carroll; four grandchildren: Shawn and Cheyanne Koopman and Sienna and Rayne Leymaster; her mother Irene Jurgensen of Denison; and her sister Gloria Kuehnhold of Denison. Bonnie was preceded in death by her father, Merlin Jurgensen, her husband Duane “Barney” Beyerink in 2011.
