Billy Ray Pryor

Billy Ray Pryor, age 32, of Carroll, IA, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, November 7, 2020.

Billy was born on November 15, 1987 in Denton, TX, and was the son of Ronald “Keith” and Donita Irene (Krause) Pryor.  Billy grew up on a farm north east of Glidden and graduated from Carroll High School in 2006.  Billy was married to Jennifer Johnson on August 7, 2010 on the family’s acreage.  To this union two children were born: Jetta and Bailly whom he loved and protected with all his heart.  Billy enjoyed hunting with his daughter Jetta, fishing, and all things outdoors.

Billy is survived by his wife Jennifer of Carroll; two daughters: Jetta (14) and Bailly (9) both at home; his parents Ronald “Keith” and Donita (Krause) Pryor; his mother-in-law Donna Johnson of Lanesboro; his paternal grandparents: Ellen Long (Calvin) of Ponder, TX, and Ronald Pryor of Meeker, OK; a sister Jennifer Kienast of Carroll; a brother Brian Pryor of Atlantic, IA; two sisters-in-law: Debra Severns (Jesse) of Carroll and Heather Lenhart (Nick) of Des Moines, IA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Billy was preceded in death by his grandmother Phyllis Anthofer; and his great-grandparents Rita and W.O. Bishop.
