Rebecca Jill Law, age 67, of Glidden, IA, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.

A celebration of Becky’s life will be held at 6:30 P.M. on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden with Rev. Rick Hamilton officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday until the time of service.  Those in attendance at Becky’s service are asked to abide by Covid-19 guidelines and facemasks are required at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Merle Hay Memorial Cemetery at a later date.

Becky, as she was known to most, was born on May 23, 1953 in Ft. Dodge, IA, and she was the daughter of Wilbur and Elizabeth (Spencer) Law.  She grew up on her family’s farm near Rutland, IA.  Her family moved to Lake View when she was in high school.  Following high school she worked at General Electric in Carroll and soon after purchased a restaurant in Churdan and called it B.J.’s.  She later sold the restaurant and opened the Jack of Hearts in Carnarvon.  Becky also owned and operated restaurants in Glidden, Auburn, Coon Rapids, Arcadia and Carroll.  She was forced to retire due to health reasons and continued to live in Glidden.  Becky was an avid Iowa Hawkeyes fan.  She loved going to stock car races, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

Becky is survived by her spouse Jacque Lyons of Glidden; her brother Kim Law (Shawn) of Auburn, IA; Jacque’s children: Chris Lyons of Glidden, Michael “Erky” Schulze (Lindsey) of Glidden, and Jessica Jackson (Ricky) of Lake City; Jacque’s twelve grandchildren; and Jacque’s siblings: Terri Lyons of Coon Rapids and Jeff Lyons (David) of Petaluma, CA; and several other extended family members and many good friends.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents Wilbur and Elizabeth Law.
