Arlene Marie Trent

Arlene Marie Trent, age 86, of Carroll, Iowa, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Addington Place in Carroll, Iowa.

A private family graveside service will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Carroll.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll and online condolences may be left for the family at www.dahnandwoodhouse.com.

Arlene was born on January 3, 1940 to George and Bernadette (Montie) Burns. Following a whirlwind courtship and engagement, Arlene married the love of her life, Larry Allen Trent, on April 23, 1960.

Larry and Arlene were beloved and devoted parents to their three children: David Allen Trent, Jennifer Ann Trent, and Amy Lynn Trent Gonnerman, as well as beloved and devoted grandparents to their five grandchildren: Tyler, Marshall, Elizabeth, Gaston, and Genessa. Arlene will always be remembered and forever cherished by her family, friends, and loved ones.
