Alta L. Rose

Alta L. Rose, age 72, of Carroll, IA, passed away on Wednesday, December23,2020 at Accura Healthcare of Carroll.

A private graveside service will be held at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery near Drakesville, Iowa.

Alta was born March 22 1948 in Ottumwa, Ia.  She was the daughter of Rev. Ivan and Edna (Roberts)Rose.  Step Mother Nora Evaleen (Alexander).

Alta grew up at Tama, Granger, Russell, Ralston, and Glenwood State Hospital.  She moved to New Hope Village in 1978 living in Summerset Cottage, she later moved to a New Hope group home.   Alta most recently made her home at Accura Healthcare Center of Carroll where she received excellent care.

She is survived by three brothers: Walter Rose of Carroll, Paul Rose (Janet) of Carroll and Philip Rose (Becky) of Humboldt, IA; and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her step mother, a step brother Mark Alexander, and two step-sisters Marleen Leake and Helen Alexander.
