Alma Elizabeth Reinhart, age 95, of Carroll passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 16, 2017 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Carroll with Fr. Brian Feller as Celebrant. Music for the Mass will be by the St. Lawrence Choir with Kate Cuddy as organist, Jean Knobbe as Cantor, and Amy Bailey as soloist. Lector for the Mass will be Kenneth Revenaugh. Eucharistic Minister will be Jerry Sievers. Gift bearers will be Cheryl Wernimont and Norma Holley. Graveside service will be in the Nishnabotna Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. on Friday. Visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the Mass. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll and online condolences may be left for the family at www.dahnandwoodhouse.com Born on August 10, 1921 in Denison, IA, she was the daughter of Glenn and Irene (Pelley) Adams. She grew up in Denison where she graduated from high school. Following high school she worked for a drug store in Denison. She was married to Eldon E. Reinhart on December 18, 1944 in Seattle, Washington. Following Eldon’s military service the couple made their home in Denison. Alma worked for the Denison Egg Plant and was a homemaker. Eldon and Alma lived in several locations before moving to Carroll in 1959 where Eldon was employed by Crouse Cartage and Alma worked for Ocoma Foods and later Farmland. Alma and Eldon spent all their free time camping in Little Sioux, Iowa. Alma was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. She was an excellent cook and she loved reading and flower gardening. Alma is survived by her daughter Jerri Revenaugh of Omaha; grandson Kenneth Revenaugh (Katrina) of Fairview, KS; granddaughter Amy Bailey (Dakota) of Boulder, CO; three great grandchildren: Maddie, Gavin, and Chloe; and several nieces and nephews. Alma was preceded in death by her parents Glenn and Irene Adams; two brothers: Glenn Adams (Kathryn) and Charles Adams (Betty); and a sister Virginia “Dilly” Ahart (John).
