Funeral Services for John “Ace” Parker, age 89, of Coon Rapids, will be 10:30 AM, April 2, 2012, at First United Methodist Church in Coon Rapids. Interment with Military honors will be in the Highland Township Cemetery south of Bayard. Friends may call From 5 PM to 7 PM on Sunday, April 1, 2012, at Johnson & Woodhouse Funeral Home in Coon Rapids.

Ace died Thursday evening at Thomas Rest Haven in Coon Rapids.

Survivors includes: three sons: Ronnie Parker of Omaha; Dr. John Parker of Adel; Dr. Longley Parker of Estes Park, Colorado; A daughter Elizabeth Mills of Des Moines; eight grandchildren; Five great-grandchildren; A brother Jerry Parker of Las Vegas, Nevada and a sister Polly Blass of Casey, Iowa.
